For the rest of the year I’ll be largely away from the internet. There are some posts queued up, but I’m not going to be around in real time to moderate comments, answer emails, or chat on social networks. Other than wrapping up some freelance work, I don’t plan to be near a computer much. Between work and school, I spend far too many hours per day in front of this thing. I need a break.
This will be the first Christmas that Katie and I get to spend together. We’re not doing individual gifts, but are buying some games that we can play together and with other folks, and a Roku box so we can watch streaming movies. The plan is to just have a low-key holiday, hang out with our family of friends, hit a few local tourist sites, and relax.
