[Remarks] #30 Haunts for Objects, Vol. 1

This is cool: 30 haunted objects. Not 30 objects with traps on them, not 30 objects with ghosts or undead or something linked to them, 30 actual objects with back stories that do things to player characters who interact with them. We’re talking books that steal memory, mirrors that steal your soul, necklaces that reanimate the corpse of the dead owner so their zombie can take revenge on the (presumed) graverobber.

This is great stuff, because each object is fodder for its own story, it’s own plot, it’s own one-shot adventure. There could be reasons for player characters to go after and recover any of these objects, or the could be random dungeon trappings, or in with a treasure horde. There’s a ton of potential here, waiting to be exploited. Fantastic idea for a product, so clever as a resource for adventure hook and unusual treasures. At 15 total pages, it’s found a home in my GM’s notebook.
