This is my perso
nal approximation of the classic supervillain Foxbat, converted into Savage Worlds terms, based on the Champions statistics provided in Foxbat Unhinged. This was created using the Savage Worlds Super Powers Companion, with the intent of using Foxbat as a supporting character in a Necessary Evil-based campaign I hope to run some day.
If you’re not familiar with Foxbat… imagine if Batman’s parents hadn’t been killed, and Bruce Wayne grew up as a spoiled rich kid who did nothing but read comics all day. He wants to be a superhero, and he’s got money for gadgets and gear and a cool lair. Then imagine that Bruce’s father lost all his money in a shady stock market deal and suddenly he didn’t have money for gadgets, gear, and a cool lair anymore. So he starts committing robberies to get the money to have all the gadgets, gear, and the cool lair to be a superhero. Oh, and he really believes he’s a character in a comic book. That’s Foxbat. He’s fun.

Foxbat was my villain of choice when I was running Champions back in the day. In my adventures, he had a habit of stealing valuable props/sets from Hollywood and then gadgeteering them up so they worked. In one adventure, he stole the set from Star Trek and got the transporters working… Great stuff!
